Responsibilities

A postdoctoral research position is available in Dr. Jasim Ahamed’s laboratory to study the role of TGF-?1 in cardiac fibrosis and valvular diseases (Meyer et al. Blood 2012, 119:1064; Wang et al. 2014, 34:1924). We are seeking individuals with experience in microsurgical procedures and ultrasound imaging techniques for comprehensive evaluation of cardiac function in models of cardiovascular disease.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in a biological science, chemistry, physics or other relevant area, M.D., or equivalent.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in microsurgical procedures and ultrasound imaging techniques preferred.
