Responsibilities

The Philanthropy Department is seeking a motivated, positive, self-starter intern to assist with all facets of Philanthropy including, but not limited to:

  • Note writing, phone calls, new donor research
  • Assist with outside tours of labs and facilities
  • Assist with the OMRF Teen Leaders Program
  • Assist with annual donor events including 241 and the MS Advocate Award Dinner
  • Other general office administration (filing, scanning, copying, etc.)

This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Major Gifts and Outreach.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be working towards a bachelor's degree at an accredited university in public relations, communications, journalism, business, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous exposure to Philanthropy is a plus.

Work Hours

Internship would start Summer 2024 and end in December 2024 or May 2025. Part-time hours typically Monday through Friday, between 9:00AM-5:00PM; however, hours may vary depending on workload and special event.
